Cozy Sweater Guide

IT’S SWEATER SEASON
Sweater season has arrived! New York City temperatures are starting to go down to the low 30's (it's only November and it feels like January) :) Now would be a great time to stock up on a some comfy sweaters and stay warm inside the house and when you go out.
omg, where can I get this?! Looks so cozy and would look perfect with curled hair. c:oversized holiday sweater. get student discounts on Fall fashion http://www.studentrate.com/Fashion-DiscountsForever Asleep | Ramblings of a 20 something about health, weight loss, books, movies, and life
WHEN IT COMES TO THE COLD, I DON'T MESS
Warm clothes are a must for me. If you were in New York City last winter, then you know what it is like to be extremely cold and now is the time to stock up! Winter is no friend of mine. I get cold very easily, even if it’s below 65 degrees. The most comfortable temperature for me is 75-80 degrees. As I got older and started traveling more frequently, I learned that when it’s cold, dressing warm is a must. I have a vast wardrobe of coats, hats, gloves, scarves, thick socks, winter boots and really warm thick sweaters. They all keep me warm and cozy when room temperatures are in the mid 60's and when it’s anywhere from 60 to below 0 degrees outside.

THE COZY SWEATER ROUNDUP
Enough of my rambling on about cozy winter sweaters, and I thought I would inspire everyone with some cozy sweater images for shopping. I have added images along with the names, prices and where to buy them from. Below is my pick from thick, warm, fashionable, and practical sweaters.  I have also added in some BLACK FRIDAY sales going on. Happy Shopping & Stay Warm!

What's Your Winter Christmas Home Decor?

Decorating for Christmas is my favorite thing to do! It's also my favorite holiday
:-) When decorating my house, we make it a tradition to watch a christmas movie, drink hot chocolate and decorate our outside with White lights and the inside with Christmas stockings, Christmas DisneyWorld Countdown clock, Elf On The Shelf, Snowman, Wreaths, Candles, and our beautiful Christmas Tree with ornaments that hold many memories, bows and white lights.

What's your tradition and decorating style?

Protect Skin Against The Cold!

Winterize Your Skin

1. Hydrate from the outside in by adding an additional heavier moisturizer to your daily skincare routine. [See below for some great ones]

2. Try a humidifier in your bedroom while you sleep.

3. It's important to cleanse your hands frequently during the cold and flu season, but unless you moisture after every wash, you'll experience dry, cracked skin and brittle nails.

4. Use a gentle exfoliator from head to toe.

5. To reduce skin dryness avoid frequent and long hot showers and baths.

6. Air dry your tresses when time allows. Blow dryers dehydrate your hair resulting in brittle split ends.

7. Chapped lips are often the first sign that WINTER is upon us. Use a lip exfoliator.

8. Just because the sun isn't shining, doesn't mean you're not getting harmful UV radiation. It comes to your skin every day in SUNday, so apply sunscreen daily to all exposed parts.

Have a great winter season!
