25 Days of Christmas "Movie Marathon"

This is my favorite time of year when Thanksgiving rolls around and then Christmas movies start playing back to back! =) It brings me back to my childhood where we would watch Christmas movies and bake cookies. Now that everyone has grown up, we have started to make it a tradition and I'm so glad that most of these old movies are still around. And the NEW movies that they are making and putting on ABC Family are just as a great and put you in the holiday spirit.

Protect Skin Against The Cold!

Winterize Your Skin

 

 

1. Hydrate from the outside in by adding an additional heavier moisturizer to your daily skincare routine. [See below for some great ones]

 

2. Try a humidifier in your bedroom while you sleep.

 

3. It's important to cleanse your hands frequently during the cold and flu season, but unless you moisture after every wash, you'll experience dry, cracked skin and brittle nails.

 

4. Use a gentle exfoliator from head to toe.

 

5. To reduce skin dryness avoid frequent and long hot showers and baths.

 

6. Air dry your tresses when time allows. Blow dryers dehydrate your hair resulting in brittle split ends.

 

7. Chapped lips are often the first sign that WINTER is upon us. Use a lip exfoliator.

 

8. Just because the sun isn't shining, doesn't mean you're not getting harmful UV radiation. It comes to your skin every day in SUNday, so apply sunscreen daily to all exposed parts.

Outfit Of The Day - 9.12.13

Happy Thursday everyone! Today I wanted to share a new “outfit of the day” that I wore to work. I absolutely love my paisley silk pants that i bought from Forever21 and thought they would go great with my black floral sweater (which is also from Forever21) and my Black Crossbody bag from Forever21. As you can see, i love Forever21! 

I love these two items because they weren't at all a "splurge". But they definitely look like it when you dress it up properly, especially when you pair it with heel. They’re also quite comfortable and can be worn in many ways.
